Economic development is a compulsory skill of the federation of municipalities of the “Pays Granvillais”. Indeed, since its creation, the task of the local councillors of the eight municipalities is to put in place initiatives for the economic development of the “pays granvillais”. 
Promoting an area on the economic level means taking all the necessary measures to make the area attractive and viable for the leaders of business and industry.
As part of a coherent development policy, the councils have always concentrated their efforts in a common aim: The broadening of the possibilities for the accomodation of new firms. 

These temporary premises offer new and more established firms buildings for rent for a definite period of twenty three months. Three temporary units can accommodate firms, which have started their activity within the business incubator and which are at the end of the authorized occupation time. Thus, these firms can test the potential market, before they take the final decision to set up in the “pays granvillais”.
